Sedibeng TVET College Requirements

The requirements are straightforward and split into two main streams:

For the Tech & Engineering people (Civil, Electrical, ERD, IT, Mechatronics, Robotics):

• A Grade 9 pass with at least 50% in Mathematics and 50% in English, OR

• A pass in the PLP (Pre-Vocational Learning Programme) with 60% in Maths and Science, OR

• A pass in AET (Adult Education and Training) Level 4.

For the Business & Hospitality people  (Hospitality, Management, Marketing, Office Admin):

• A Grade 9 pass with at least 40% in Mathematics and 50% in English, OR

• A pass in the PLP, OR

• A pass in AET (Adult Education and Training) Level 4.

Documents Required

• Your latest school report/results

• Your ID document

• Your parent/guardian's ID document

• Proof of your address/residence

 Important Certification Info:

• Documents MUST be certified by a Police Station (SAPS), Commissioner of Oath, Tribal Office, or Post Office.

• NO certifications from internet cafés will be accepted—they won't work!

• The certification stamp must be less than 6 months old.
