Are you a young business owner in Mpumalanga working in the tourism space? The Mpumalanga Tourism Youth Fund 2025 gives you an opportunity to apply for financial assistance designed to help youth-led businesses grow within the province’s tourism industry.

Who can send in an application?

• Your business needs to be youth-owned and already active for at least a year.

• You’ll need to submit a few documents when applying, including:

• Company registration papers

• A stamped bank confirmation letter

• Supplier quotations

• A clear business plan

What type of businesses are supported?

Funding covers a wide range of tourism-related services, including:

1. Accommodation – Guesthouses, lodges, B&Bs, backpackers (excludes land/building purchases)

2. Tour Operators & Travel Agencies – Safari tours, cultural heritage tours, adventure operators (excludes vehicles)

3. Transport Services – Car rentals, shuttles, luxury transfers (excludes vehicles)

4. Activities & Attractions – Game reserves, theme parks, historical sites, water parks

5. Hospitality & Food – Restaurants, culinary tours, cafes (excludes land/building purchases)

6. Cultural Industries – Handicrafts, artisan markets, craft shops

7. Travel Services – Travel guides, insurance providers

8. Events & Conferences – Exhibitions, event management, conference centres

9. Recreation & Wellness – Spas, wellness centres, gyms, game centres
   
   

Other businesses not listed may also qualify if they can demonstrate a clear link to the tourism sector.

2. Log in and select Products and Services

3. Register under Mpumalanga Youth in Tourism Fund
